Bark Mulches are used to retain moisture, retard weeds, place nutrients into the soil, control erosion, insulate the plant material, and assist in the beautification of new or existing landscapes.

All of our bark mulches are made from New England materials and originate from local suppliers.

Mulch Types

Premium Hemlock: Hemlock bark mulch finely ground with its signature red/brown color. This product may be seasonally color enhanced. $42.00 per yard
Hemlock: All hemlock bark mulch enhanced with naturally occurring resources found in the earth's surface with the appearance of a red to orange color. $39.00 per yard
Hemlock Blend: A color enhanced bark mulch made with a mixture of hemlock, spruce, and fir bark to give the appearance of real hemlock at a lower cost. $34.00 per yard
Black Forest: A color enhanced black mulch that has aged through the winter in order to maintain a dark black color worthy of its name. $42.00 per yard
Dark Pine: An aged softwood blend of pine that has an attractive deep brown chocolate color. This product is not color enhanced $37.00 per yard
Rustic Brown: An economically priced color enhanced chocolate brown bark mulch alternative that is finely ground. $34.00 per yard
Compost Mulch: Biosolids compost is made from municipal wastewater treatment plant solids and a carbon source such as leaves, clean ground wood, and sawdust. Agresoil Compost™ (from biosolids) provides maximum benefit to soil by supplying the highest level of organic matter, nutrients, and beneficial microbes--more than any other compost. Additionally, Agresoil Compost™ typically enhances drainage and decreases soil bulk density due to the presence of fine wood particles used in the composting process. Agresoil Compost™ made with pure wood (in the form of sawdust or wood, ground and screened to 3/8" minus) as the only other ingredient(s) is the highest quality and most versatile compost available. This product is dark brown in color. $30.00 per yard.
